Plastic Fuzz Gig #33 – The Well, Leeds

There was a strange, flat, lifeless quality to the newly refurbished “The Well” – formally Joseph’s Well. It was Saturday but could well have been a quite winters Sunday evening in a desolate village in the countryside (though I imagine that’s not a best possible example as country pubs are fairly popular Sundays….). Of course, it wouldn’t be a Plastic Fuzz gig without technical screw-ups, and today was no exception as a pedal finally failed leaving me ‘Amber’-less and hence pretty much crowdless. An attempt at previewing a new song (which I now realise still needs work) went down as expected; like a dead pup.
